Making an Ash table for a kitchen we renovated. It was a beast. The top was 5ft by a little over 8ft. The 3 sections the top was made of were too heavy for my jointer and ended up taking a light pass one either end and a heavy pass in the center (when all the weight was centered over the cutter). To solve this I had to tape a small shim in the center and joint half way, lift the shim over the cutter, and joint the second half. Sorry about the end.
