I recently purchased a new tool for my woodworking hobby. The DeWalt DW734 thickness planer.
I have gathered several waterbed frames (2x10 and 2x12's). They are finished with paint, stain, and/or polyurethane. Using a belt sander tends to create heat and ends up melting the finish, clogging up the sanding belts. So, I decided to clean the finish off the boards with my plane.
