I've started making this router plane some months ago and use it simple just with the oak body drilled and a 1/4" Veritas router plane blade. After using it for making all kinds of rabbets and grooves for the tool cabinet and other projects I realized what improvements are needed, and so I have added a depth stop, from a cheap drill stop set, a fence for making parallel grooves, knurled nut knob for tightening the blade and more thickness to the sole in order to hold better the blade.
